Dear Families,

Our names are Louie and Calder. We are eighth graders at Lagunitas Community School. For a big part of our Change Projects, we are planning on doing a read-a-thon. It is going to be on November 19th 2025. You can sponsor a kid per hour they read. We are asking for a minimum donation of 5 dollars per hour. The entire Read-A-Thon hours will be tracked from Monday 11/17- Friday 11/21.

The read-a-thon will be a fundraiser for LEAP. We wanted to do this for our Change Project because we wanted to increase the time kids spend reading. We love reading and want to share that with our school. The kids at the upper campus can wear pajamas and bring stuffies. For the kids at the lower campus feel free to come in pajamas. We will bring some delicious surprises!
