Civil Rights Journey
Class of 2026/27

Help Every 8th Grader Experience the Civil Rights Journey

Each year, our 8th graders step out of the classroom and into history, walking the same streets and standing in the places where the Civil Rights Movement changed our country.

This trip brings learning to life in a way that stays with students for years to come.

A Community Effort

The total cost is about $2,000 per student, which includes flights, lodging, transportation, meals, and chaperones.

We ask families to contribute the full amount if possible, but any amount helps. This is a community-supported trip, and through family contributions, fundraising, and donations, we make sure every student can attend.

How you can help

  • Donate any amount, set up monthly payments or pay in a one-time dontation

  • Share this page with others

  • Support student-led fundraising efforts

Your support helps ensure this opportunity is accessible to the entire class.

Thank you for being part of this journey and helping our students experience history in a meaningful and lasting way.
